  "conclusion": "REFRAMED / NOT TESTED AS INTENDED — not refuted. The experiment discovered that its manipulated variable sat downstream of a variable it had failed to control. Across the five sent-here conditions, declaration occurred in exactly the two cells where explicit user permission to issue state-changing requests was present, and in neither of the three reward levels without it — including cell 8, which declared under `none`, where declaring buys nothing and the site says so in those words. In these runs, explicit user permission gated declaration; instrumental reward did not. Separately and equally usefully, all three incidental cells produced zero requests to the site, so half the design measured search reachability rather than participation: a personal publication holding primary evidence on a question is not selected as a source by agents researching that question. Scope is narrow — n=1 per cell, one model family, one harness, one task shape — and two observations of a flip are not a rate."
